Relax for Pudsey

Children In Need logo

Thankyou for joining us for the Relax for Pudsey event. At 9 am on 20th November, all over the country, in School Assemblies, the workplace, at home, people will be relaxing together to the Play Pause Unwind visualisation, ‘One World’!

Increasingly, everyday stress is impacting dramatically on children’s health and affecting their life chances. Without direction, many seek release in quick fix solutions such as over-eating, drinking, smoking or taking drugs, so learning how to properly relax is a vital life skill, essential for long-term health, well-being and success.

Play Pause Unwind is a series of relaxing audio visualisations. We have made ‘One World’ free to download in the hope of reducing the stress-related health problems affecting an increasing number of children and young adults. Please show your appreciation by downloading the ‘One World’ MP3 and joining us, wherever you are, whoever you’re with, at 9 am on 20th November and donating what you can to help us raise funds for the 2009 Pudsey Appeal. Please give generously and make ‘Relax for Pudsey’ a fantastic success. Thankyou!

(if you are already fundraising for Children In Need you may skip the donation by clicking ‘Return to Sug Mon Kooky’)

I think this event will benefit all the children and adults in our organisation. An idea for next year; Why not have a live upload from wherever the Relax for Pudsey event is taking place so that people can join in with the session as it happens on their screens?
Lets make the event much bigger next year

    Hi
We will take part in the Relax for Pudsey event and will have an assembly relating to this. We feel that gardening is a way of relaxing and will be making a willow wigwam as a place where children can go and relax.

At St George’s RC School, Scarborough, our school council are organising a variety of events. The theme for the children is to come to school dressed as “what they would like to be when they grow up”
Miss Robert’s class will be organising some games during the afternoon but by popular request, each class will have a film show! They will also be able to buy popcorn and a soft drink too. We are asking for a coin donation for wearing fancy dress and 25p for entry into the ‘cinema’ plus 25p for popcorn and a drink.
